Time of Our Singing Released from the lab: May, 2007 | Motion Graphic Design
This project is one part of a five-part piece commissioned by the Provost Office at the University of Illinois as a way to honor and acknowledge the contribution of Richard Powers. The project was completed with two students in the design program, Travis Austin and Becky Nasadowski. I was the project art director and technical director. In addition, I designed the packaging for the completed collection of five commissioned pieces as well as the packaging for our individual piece.

Making Basquiat Released from the lab: May, 2008 | Motion Graphic Design
This project is a spinoff of the story Basquiat and the Six Uses of Space by Travis Kurowski which was recently published in the Fall/Winter 2007 edition of the Ninth Letter. In this piece I take a look at the creative process that went into designing this epic piece and some of the thinking that goes into the design process used at the Ninth Letter.
