About Motion Design Lab

Motion Design Lab, directed by Amir Ahmadoghlu, is a creative platform within the Media and Visual Arts (MAVA) department at Koç University. The lab showcases selected student works and explores motion design through animation, visual storytelling, experimental moving image, and emerging media. It provides a space for developing new approaches to time-based visual communication while bringing together design, technology, and creative experimentation.
